It's tough to come across good lesbian movies, but luckily the talented Shamim Sarif, an award winning novelist and novice director has given us two gems to drool over this November. Both of her new feature films--The World Unseen (based on Shamim's award winning novel), which opened Nov. 7 and I Can't Think Straight, which opens Friday--explore lesbian love.
Both films feature the same two actresses in starring roles opposite eachother--Lisa Ray and Sheetal Sheth. These two ladies are so incredibly sultry that its no wonder why Shamim has them starring in both features. Lisa and Sheetal have chemistry that transfers over well on screen, and lets face it--They're both very easy on the eyes. In fact, I'd have to say that they're a perfect match, like peanut butter and jelly or crackers and cheese... I could go on, but for your sake I won't.
In any case, I urge you to get your butts out there and see these two well directed and performed movies in theater, because good lesbian flicks really do deserve your support.

I like the title "I can't think straight". Good play on words, the trailer looks good as well :)
