Supporting gay-friendly companies and boycotting anti-gay companies.

With the passing of Proposition 8 it would seem that the Queer Community has alienated itself from the rest of society, or perhaps its the other way around. In any case, this type of of division, err segregation is not going to benefit anybody anytime soon. Although, maybe being so drastic as to promote the boycotting of anti-gay companies is the key to having your voice heard. After all, nothing echoes louder across our capitalist nation than the KaChing! of a cash register. Thus, maybe the suspension of economic support to those who propagate hate and discrimination is the best way to protest. In many ways its hitting them where it hurts. Although I'm not particularly fond of this Us vs. Them mentality--But really, what other options are there?
