Coming Soon! Lesbians on the Aussie show 'Home and Away'.

Plans for a lesbian affair between two characters on the Aussie show Home and Away have been confirmed to be true. Policewoman Charlie Buckton, played by Esther Anderson, will fall for deck hand Joey Collins, played by Kate Bell, as their relationship develops over an intense five weeks starting late March. Its been said that the pair will be sizzling hot, but I'm not sure if that will be the case seeing as the show is PG-rated. We shall see in due time how the story plays out. Although, it should be noted that the show has been receiving criticism from some Conservative groups, but I don't think that's a shocker--same old, same old.

I just hope that when the story does come up that some generous soul will post clips online for us to indulge in.

Otalia's Advocate interview reveals some interesting spoilers.

Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia discuss the blossoming romance of their played characters Olivia and Natalia on the soap opera Guiding Light in the current issue of Advocate. They discuss Otalia (a fan coined coupeling name) and its legions of supporters, as well as offer us some insight spoiler information regarding where their storyline is heading. And not to spoil it for those that don't want to be spoiled, all I can say is that the storyline wil be complex, but the end result will be GLORIOUS.

Now if you want to be spoiled because you just can't take the come-here go-away trip these ladies have been putting you through check out the advocate article HERE.

Warning! Anne Hache is single and possibly cruising.

Just wanted to warn all the ladies out there that Anne Hache is officially single and possibly cruising. Her divorce from her now ex-husband Coleman Laffoon has been finalized. So, IF Anne Hache approaches you, make sure you have your cootie shots, okay ladies? Maybe I'm being to harsh; after all, even cootie girls need love.

Katy Perry infiltrates kid-hood.

Katy Perry's song "I Kissed a Girl" has been nominated for Nickelodeon's 2009 Kid's Choice Award. She has infiltrated kid-hood with her catchy pop tune--this is rather progressive for Nickelodeon.

What can one say about such news? Hmmm... when I was a little kid I had an orange tape that I played over and over again with classic kiddie songs. Geeez... getting nostalgic certainly makes me feel old, and that's not a good thing at 25.

And so... forward we charge.

Who knew America had a lesbian Iron Chef?

Iron Chef America star Cat Cora is a lesbian? This tidbit of gossip was surprising to me. I had absolutely no idea. I guess you learn something new everyday. Anyway, she and her partner Jeniffer are expending adding two kiddies to the mix and both have used in vetro fertilisation to do so. Of course you're thinking DUH! But here's the interesting part, Jeniffer has been implanted with Cat Cora's embryo, while Cat has been implanted with Jenniffer's embryo-while the sperm was donated by the same men who fathered their previous child.

There were two things that struck me upon hearing this: 1) Cat Cora is queer??? How did she slip past my gaydar? AND 2) I wonder how two lovers that are pregnant at the same time interact with eachother through all the discomfort. I would imagine that its definately difficult. Sounds complicated to me is all I'm saying. Even so, CONGRATULATION ladies.

Looking back at the L Word.

THE L WORD, A RETROSPECTIVE.

The L Word comes to an END.

The series finale of the L Word has aired and my heart has been shattered. There's no doubt that some of the story lines were a little far fetched as the seasons went on, but nevertheless I loved all the characters immensely.

I know some people hated the series finale and I understand why, but I don't think it was that bad. I understood the creative process that might have led the show to end the way it did. Jenny came in and started the show, and now she too ended it. I've always loved Jenny Schechter. She was a misunderstood character who was the foundation upon which the show was built. So, hate her all you want, but without her there would be no L Word.

I'll miss the show and its quirky hilarious one line zingers. I'll miss watching the characters and the actors who played them on screen. I'll miss being obsessed with the show and wondering what kind of crazy will Ilene Chaiken was going to give us this week. I'll miss it flawed and all.

Who do you think killed Jenny Schechter?
Jenny Schecter did herself in. That tramp Nikki did it. What the heck was she doing in the bushes? Bette did it to protect her family. Tina or Helena did it. They have had enough of this story line. Shane did it. It was a crime of passion. Alice did it. She is going to be in prison in the spin off, right? Kit did it to protect her sister Bette. It was all Sounders fault! Jenny tripped over him and landed in the pool.

Naomi and Emily give into love.

Has anyone been watching Skins and the relationship between Naomi and Emily? Well, if you haven't than after watching the video clip below from last weeks episode I'm certain you'll YouTube them. They are an incredibly adorable pair. Its a lesbian teen storyline that is very much realistic in its attempt at portraying lesbian teens and their struggle to find and love themselves and to allow themselves to fall in love.

Naomi and Emily give into love.

I dare you not to fall for this new coupling... I double dare you...
It can't be done. I'm certain of it.

Rachel Maddow on the View!

The wonderful and delicious Rachel Maddow was on The View on March 5th, 2009 and boy do I giver her credit for sitting next to Elizabeth Hasselback without once flinching. She's so incredibly confident, a giant in her own right. What can I say? Maddow is a chivalerous classy super queer hero who fights battles with her smarts not her fists. And so the winner in this battle of 'views' was without question Maddow.

In need of rehab--I'm OTALIA obsessed!

Olivia + Natalia = OTALIA

I am completely enamored by the coupling of Olivia and Natalia played by Crystal Chappell and Jessica Leccia on the soap Guiding Light. I have gone completely nuts for this couple.

Not since BAM (Bianca and Maggie on All My Children) have I invested this much time and energy into a soap opera storyline--an actually well written storyline to boot.

Catch yourself up on this couple by visiting the Otalia Fan YouTube channel, and get involved by joining the crusade of Otalia fanatics on the Big Purple Dreams Otalia Forum. The more the merrier. And heck, those participating make me feel a little less alone in having gone Otalia MAD!

Maca and Esther Back Together!!! Fingers X'ed.

Hospital Central is BACK!

The new season started off with a BANG! Me thinks that Maca and Esther are going to get back together--I mean, they MUST. They are clearly the couple to root for, and now that Vero is going to be out of the picture maybe Maca and Esther can actually work all their shiz out and make it work because they want to and not just because of the kids. Thank goodness for that. I certainly wouldn't be able to bare such a negative cliché. Only thing that stands in the way of Maca and Esther's onscreen hotness is Bea, Esthers girlfriend. UGH! Maca should have moved faster to reclaim Esthers heart.

Season Premiere.

Coulda-Shoulda Woulda... GRRrrr. tsk tsk tsk
Goes to show absence makes the heart grow finder, if it’s really love that is.

The past is the past I suppose... And so, I'll accept the drama as long as Maca and Esther are the end result. There's nothing wrong with angst and tortue as long as it leads to Maca and Esther. So, please Hospital Central writers don't fail me like others have.

Preview for next week.

Bring on the angst... I'M READY!
